🍅 Work with the time that you have, rather than against it
This popular time management method asks you to alternate “Pomodoros” (focused work sessions) with frequent short breaks.
This sustains concentration for longer.
📝 How to
Pick a task
Set a 25 minute timer
Work on the task until the time is up
Take a 5 minute break
Every 4 Pomodoros take a longer 15-30 minute break
🍅 Why Pomodoro?
Francesco Cirillo developed the method in the late 1980s.
Struggling to focus on his university studies and completing assignments he asked himself to commit to just 10 minutes of focused study time.
Encouraged by the challenge, he found a pomodoro (italian for tomoato) shaped kitchen timer, and the Pomodoro technique was born.
