To get what you want, you must first deserve it. Want to find a good partner? Start by deserving a good partner. Make a list of all the qualities you're looking for. Then, work on living them. It's hard to attract qualities that you don’t have. Similarly, as a parent, it's hard to teach a child values that you don't live by.
